BCR (thebcr.com) is very pleased to announce, in cooperation with the University of Sydney, that it will provide long-term funding to the Nerve Research Foundation of the Brain and Mind Centre. The BCR Scholarship was officially established in 2019 to support PhD students studying in the field of Computational Neuroscience.

The Brain and Mind Centre is a joint project (ANSTO) administered by the University of Sydney and the Australian College of Nuclear Medicine. It is well known that the Australian sector of brain research and treatment is a global leader in science and technology and is committed to studying disease control and achieving advancements in clinical medicine and cardio cerebral central nervous research. A long-standing research team is focused on the development and treatment of diseases such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, etc.

With AI technology being at the forefront of modern medicine, this scholarship will be awarded to PhD students who advance AI innovation in clinical imaging and/or image biomarker research administrated through the Brain and Mind Centre of University of Sydney. Through the BCR fellowship, the Brain and Mind Centre of University of Sydney will recruit top talents from well-known academic institutions all over the world.

BCR and the University of Sydney scholarships ceremony will be held at the University of Sydney on May 20. Some of the world's top medical and scientific scientists as well as the university dean and vice president will be present and will invite the BCR board of directors, executive director David Calver, sales director Anna Zhang and other senior management personals to visit and dialogue with the project team members.
